How does payment and booking actually work?
Both coaching options start with a short request form on the homepage — James follows up personally to arrange payment and get started. For organizations booking a workshop, payment is typically handled by invoice — details are worked out after you submit a workshop request.
What’s the difference between the two coaching options?
Strategic Career Coaching via Email is a two-week, asynchronous engagement: ongoing written Q&A exchanges plus a career document review (within reason), with a 48-hour response window per exchange — best if you’d rather think in writing and don’t need to talk live, for $125. The Career Coaching Session is a single 60-minute live call for $75 — best if you’re stuck right now and want a real-time conversation.
Do you guarantee I’ll get an interview or job offer?
No. Career coaching services do not guarantee employment outcomes — results vary based on market conditions, your qualifications, and your own follow-through. What James does guarantee is direct, honest strategy based on real federal hiring experience.
What’s your rescheduling and refund policy?
You can reschedule your session up to 24 hours in advance at no charge. Because coaching time is reserved specifically for you, sessions are non-refundable once booked.
How do I get my digital products (templates, guides, planner) after I buy?
All digital products are sold and delivered through Etsy — instant download, secure checkout, delivered immediately after purchase. Templates aren’t sold directly on this site.
Can I share or resell the templates I bought?
No. Templates and guides are licensed for your personal use only. Resale, redistribution, or sharing copies with others isn’t permitted — see the Terms of Service for details.
Is my information kept private?
Yes — see the Privacy Policy for exactly what’s collected and how it’s used. Your information is never sold.
What if I’m with a union, agency, nonprofit, or organization and want support for a group?
Workshops are available for organizations — professional writing skills, job search skills, strategic interview communication, program evaluation, veteran transition mentorship, and leading without authority. Sessions are offered in person for Central Ohio organizations, or virtually for teams anywhere. Visit the Workshops page to see the available modules and request a proposal.

Do you work with people outside Ohio?
Yes — individual coaching is virtual, so James works with clients nationwide. Workshops for organizations are available in person for Central Ohio groups, or virtually for teams anywhere else. He’s based in Galloway, Ohio.
